INTER-CULTURAL PROGRAM TO ISTANBUL, TURKEY

OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM
Experience Turkey this coming summer with the AYFN’s Inter-cultural Program in Istanbul, Turkey. This program is open to public who desiring a short-term immersion program in Turkish culture. With the goal of increasing foreigners’ understanding of The Republic of Turkey, The AYFN Exchange Academy and local partner are offering an invaluable Turkish learning cultural immersion program.
The program offers daily activities and cultural excursions to enhance the Turkish experience. This entails a program which is specifically designed to offer cultural understanding of Turkey. This will be done through both visiting famous Istanbul attractions and partaking in typical cultural activities such as experiencing Turkish tradition. Our aim is to inspire the students/young generation to open their minds to other cultures and recognize the importance of language learning at the same time. We want the participants to end their trip by leaving with a better knowledge of Turkey.

PROGRAM PLAN
DAY 1 : Arrival in Istanbul & Transfer to Hotel
Upon your arrival at Istanbul Ataturk Airport our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Time at leisure, stay overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2 : Bosphorus and Two Continents ( Including Lunch )
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full Day Tour.
Tour Highlights : Spice Bazaar (Egyptian ), Bosphorus Tour on Boat, Beylerbeyi Palace, Bosphorus Bridge, Camlica Hill
17:00 After the activities, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 3 : Understanding on Byzantine & Ottoman (Including Lunch)
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full Day Activities Cultural Program.
Program Highlights: Visit to Hagia Sophia Museum, Byzantine Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Sultan Tombs
17:00 After the activities, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 4 : Princes’ Island Adventure (Including Lunch )
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full Day Tour.
Program Highlights : Princes’ Islands (Buyukada), Phaeton Tour (horse and cart)
17:00 After the activities, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 5 : Bosphorus Cruise & Dinner
Morning – afternoon: free time
19:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Dinner Curuise on The Boshorus.
Tour Highlights ; Sail up the Bosphorus, Dinner , Unlimited Soft Drinks, D.J music , Anatolian Folk Dance , Belly Dancer
24:00 After the activities, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 6
Departure from Istanbul & Transfer to Airport
Breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel before 12:00
Transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport regarding your flight details.
PROGRAM FEE:
One of the AYFN’s strength is to provide high quality placement program, but still in an affordable range of fee. To join Inter-cultural Program to Turkey (6 Days program), participants must pay: USD 500 (program fee only)

Scheme of payment:
First payment : USD 100 (to confirm attendance – 10 days after getting confirmation from AYFN)
Rest payment : USD 400 maximum 15 June 2018
PARTICIPANTS ELIGIBILITY:
The participants of Inter-cultural program to Turkey should meet the criteria as follow:
- Must be 15 – 30 years old
- Must be Indonesian citizen
- Commit to join full program
- Able to adapt new environment easily
- Able to pay the program fee
- Health physically and mentally

- This program is LIMITED for maximum 15 participants only.
- Deadline of registration: 30 April 2018 or When the slot will have been fully booked, the registration will be closed.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Program Cancellation by organizer
- ASEAN Youth Friendship Network (AYFN) reserves the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the program non-viable.
- If AYFN cancels a program, registrants will be offered a full refund.
- Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a program, AYFN has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same program at the new, future date.
Registration Cancellation by Participant
- The following penalties shall apply, if otherwise specified. If you cancel more than 30 days before scheduled program departure, the cancellation charge will be 20% of the listed program fare. If you cancel 15-29 days before scheduled program departure, the cancellation charge will be 70% of the listed program fare. If you cancel 1-14 days before scheduled program departure, the cancellation charge will be 100% of the listed program fare.
- No show will be considered as a cancellation on program departure date
- Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
- Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend a program.
- Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
- All refund requests must be made by the attendee.
- Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
- Refund will be made on 30 days after the program ends.
- These above policies apply to all AYFN program unless otherwise noted in the corresponding program materials. Please read all individual program information thoroughly.
