AYFN is offering individuals the opportunity to win travel scholarship to Korea.
Type of Scholarship and Coverage
We offer three types of scholarship: Gold, Silver, and Blue. Each type has different benefit. Please read carefully. Applicants are not required to pay the application fee. But, you are required to purchase the e-book of travel memoir. The author of the e-book is the previous awardee of AYFN scholarship.
Gold
AYFN will waive the program fee and provide travel grant up to USD 1,000.
- Porgram fee waiver (100%) => Worth up to USD 1,000
- Flight expense support (Worth up to USD 1,000)
Silver
AYFN will waive the program fee and provide travel grant up to USD 250.
- Program fee waiver (100%) ==> Worth up to USD 1,000
- Flight expense support (Worth up to USD 250)
Blue
AYFN will waive the program fee or Program fee reduction scholarship.
- Program fee waiver (100%)
- Program fee reduction (20%, 30%, 40 %, 50%) from normal program fee
The scholarship will NOT cover: Additional Flight expenses, Visa processing fee, Personal expenses (travel insurance, internet, laundry, additional meals, and not mentioned in the scholarship coverage).
Program fee includes: Accommodation 6D5N (Double shared), Meals (4 Breakfast and 4 Lunch), All activities indicated on schedule, All tour indicated on schedule, Local transports (Train and Bus), E-Certificate of participation from AYFN, Program supervision, In-country administration costs and souvenir from AYFN.
NOTE:
15% of sales revenue will be given back to the author as a royalty. 80% of sales revenue will be used to support the development of AYFN Programs, Promotions, Judges/reviewers’ honor and selection process. 5% of revenue will be used to pay the transaction fee.

Eligibility of applicant
You are required to meet these crieterias to apply for the scholarship.
- All nationalities are welcomed to apply
- Must be between 17 – 40 years old
- Have an interest in Travel and Culture
- Have an interest in Writing
- Demonstrate leadership potential
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to travel to Korea during the program
- Physical and mental healthy
- Ready to document all activities

- Curriculum Vittae (Resume) – Europass standard.
- 250 words Motivation letter on “Why do I need this scholarship?”
- 250 words Essay on “Why I deserve this scholarship?”
- Screenshot receipt that you have purchased E-book
- Short Introduction Video
- All documents must be in English version.
Additional documents
These documents will make your application stands out.
- Certificates of Acheivement (Championship, Olympiad, Business Competition, etc).
- Writing portofolio
- English Proficiency Certificate (Toefl ITP, IBT, IELTS or Duolingo).
- Letter of recommendation from the one/organization whom know you well.
- All documents must be in English version.
