Scholarship Types & Inclusions
AYFN is offering a special travel scholarship that gives you the chance to explore Korea with ease and purpose. We offer two tiers of scholarship awards: Gold and Silver, each with its own unique set of benefits. Please refer to the scholarship details carefully to understand the coverage of each type.
No application fee required.
However, all applicants are required to purchase an exclusive e-book as part of the application process. We collaborate with the author and publisher to provide the scholarship grant.
Gold
AYFN will waive the program fee and provide travel grant up to USD 750.
- Program fee waiver (100%) => Worth up to USD 950
- Flight expense support (Worth up to USD 750)
Silver
AYFN will waive the program fee and provide travel grant up to USD 250.
- Program fee waiver (100%) ==> Worth up to USD 950
- Flight expense support (Worth up to USD 250)
The scholarship covers the following:
- 6 days and 5 nights of accommodation (double/triple shared room)
- Breakfast (4x) and lunch (4x)
- All cultural and educational activities as stated in the itinerary
- Scheduled sightseeing tours
- Local transportation (Metro and Bus)
- E-Certificate of participation issued by AYFN
- Full program guidance and support
- In-country coordination and administrative fees
Please note that the scholarship does not include the following costs:
- Visa application fees
- Additional airfare expenses
- Personal expenditures such as travel insurance, internet access, laundry, extra meals, or any items not specifically listed under the scholarship coverage

Eligibility of applicant
You are required to meet these crieterias to apply for the scholarship.
- All nationalities are welcomed to apply
- Must be between 17 – 40 years old
- Have an interest in Travel and Culture
- Involvement in social and youth activities
- Demonstrate leadership potential
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to travel to South Korea during the program
- Physical and mental healthy
- Ready to document all activities

- Curriculum Vittae (Resume) – Europass standard.
- 250 words Motivation letter on “Why do I need this scholarship and Why I deserve this scholarship?”
- 250 words Essay on “Youth and Travel”
- A receipt payment for E-book (Purchase Period: 5 Jan – 15 April 2026)
- All documents must be in English version
