Moscow is one of the largest cities in the world! You will find here huge skyscrapers and buildings that are several hundred years old next to each other. You will see here diversity in nearly everything – unimaginable richness combines with extreme poverty on the same street!

Program
The program will take place on 9 – 14 February 2020.
| 9 February 2020 | Arrival
There are no activities planned for that day. But if you arrive early during the day – you are welcome to spend a day discovering the city. Probably we will be able to provide you with a guide who can accompany you to the city. Or you can choose to relax and spend the day at home – it’s up to you! |
| 10 February 2020 | Morning – Lecture about Russia and Russian cultureYou will learn about the culture of the country. We will try to answer the questions about why Russian never smile and why vodka plays such a significant role in Russian society.
Afternoon – you will visit the park Kolomenskoe to see the buildings in traditional Russian style and learn more about Russian history. |
| 11 February 2020 | You will visit Red Square, Mausoleum, Kremlin. After the tour, you will visit huge shopping centers next to Kremlin – GUM and Okhotniy Ryad.Boat trip (if the weather permits) – standard route includes Kremlin / Christ the Savior Cathedral / Monument to Peter I / Government House / Moscow City Hall / Main building of Moscow State University / “Luzhniki” / Sparrow Hills / Park of Culture and Rest / Novodevichy Convent / Gorkiy Park |
| 12 February 2020 | You will visit Tretyakov Gallery – the largest gallery in Moscow and a number of other places in the city center – Arbat, multiple churches incl the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. |
| 13 February 2020 | You will visit VDNKh – the place to feel Soviet Culture.Then you will be invited to visit the Pushkin Museum – one of the richest museums of Russia. |
| 14 February 2020 | Departure Day. If you leave in the evening – we can provide you with a guide who will be happy to spend a day with you discovering the parts of Moscow that you still want to visit. |
Accommodation
The accommodation during the event will be provided in a unique location – a modern comfortable training center. Participants will sleep and have sessions at the same building! The training center is located in the south of Moscow (so called New Moscow area).
The training center consists of 8 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large common room for the sessions. In addition to the standard facilities, the training center is equipped with Jacuzzi that can be used by participants, the fire place where participants can gather in the evenings together, terrace and other facilities which will make the stay comfortable.
The training center in New Moscow is not just a building! It was constructed with the intention to give participants the feeling of the community together! To facilitate informal contacts among participants outside of the sessions. Fully equipped kitchen and the place for BBQing are also available for the participants.
In case of the good weather, the outside area can be used by participants as well.
The stay at the training center in New Moscow provides unique experience enhancing the learning process!
Visa
Nationals of most of the countries need a visa to enter Russia. If you are not sure if you need a visa or not – please send us an email letting us know which nationality you have and we will be happy to advise you if you need a visa or not.
If you need a visa – we will send you a visa invitation. Please note the visa invitation is not a visa. With the visa invitation which you will receive from us, you will still need to go to the Russian Consulate and apply for a visa.
Together with the visa invitation, you will need to bring to the Consulate some other documents (usually these includes passport, passport size photo, filled application form, in some cases – insurance, proof of finances and other documents depending on the country where you are applying for a visa). We recommend you to check the website of the Russian Consulate to see the full list of documents you need to present.
Usually, it takes about 1-2 weeks to receive a visa at the Consulate after the moment you have submitted your visa application. In most of the cases before submitting the visa application you need to make an appointment. Some times you can only make an appointment 1-2 months in advance. That is why we recommend you to contact the closest Russian Consulate as soon as possible to make an appointment for a visa.
Visa fee varies depending on the country where you apply. For EU citizens in most cases, the visa can be done free of charge. For non-EU citizens, the visa fee is 35 or 60 euro (depending on the country where you apply for a visa). Those are the fees if you apply directly at the Consulate. In most of the countries, you can apply directly to the Consulate but you also have a choice to apply for a visa to the Visa Center of the Consulate, Visa Center, Travel Agency or to another organization. If you are applying through any of those organizations (e.g. anywhere except the Consulate itself) there might be extra charges.
We recommend you to apply for a visa as soon as possible. And of course – in case of any questions on any stage of visa application we will be more than happy to assist!
Price
AYFN offers two schemes:
SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (For member of AYFN only).
Scholarship scheme will benefit for selected member of AYFN . AYFN will waive the program fee and travel expense (max : USD 600). There will be selection process to get this opportunity. AYFN will select the candidates using some assessments: documents review (1st round), creativity assessment by making a video (2nd round) and online interview (if needed). Number of scholarship : 2 spots.

Awardee will get :
- Flight ticket from home country to Moscow City, Russia return. You need to pay extra if the flight ticket fare is higher than USD 600.

Requirements to apply Russia Experience Program 2020
The applicants of Russia Experience Program 2020 should meet the criteria as follow:
- Must be a member of AYFN (If you are not a member of AYFN, kindly sign up as a member. Click here to register.)
- Must be 15 – 35 Years old
- Commit to join full program
- Have a good communication skill
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to adapt new environment easily
- Health physically and mentally

The applicants of Russia Experience Program 2020 should meet the minimum criteria as follow:

- Able to communicate in English
- Able to adapt new environment easily
- Able to pay the program fee and other expenses
- Health physically and mentally
The program fee is Euro 550 (non member), Euro 500 (Member of AYFN).
The fee includes:
- The program of the course (including all necessary study materials)
- The accommodation (in the comfortable training center in Moscow)
- Meals (breakfast, lunch, and coffee-breaks)
- Transfer
- Visa invitation (which you will need to bring to the Russian Consulate in order to apply for a visa)
The fee excludes:
- Flight tickets from home country to Moscow, Russia
- Visa fee
- Airport transfer after the program ends (From accommodation to airport)
Additional information
It is possible to arrive one/a few days earlier or leave one/a few days later. The fee for every extra night is 50 euro per night. You will be provided accommodation for extra nights at the training center, but no meals will be provided during these additional nights.
If you would like to book additional nights – please let us know and we will provide a visa invitation for a longer period. It is not possible to request a visa invitation for a longer period and stay at another venue for additional nights. Due to strict migration regulations, we can provide a visa invitation for a longer period only if you spend all the nights within your stay at the venue of the training center.
